Investiture Ceremony of the Interact Club at St.Stephen's School, TOGAN

The investiture ceremony of the Interact Club was held at St. Stephen's School, Togan on Friday, August 05, 2016 where student participants were assigned various duties for the effective functioning of the Interact Club in the school. The ceremony among other features comprised a beautiful and melodious presentation by the school choir as well a theme dance. Then the incoming members of the Interact Club took the Oath. The whole ceremony was attended by more than 100 students of the school.. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Neenu Vij, President of the Rotary Club. The outgoing President of the Interact Club presented the Annual Report for the year ending 2015 - 2016. Then the Principal, Mr Roy da Silva, shared his valuable thoughts and encouraged the members of the Club while lauding the previous members. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
The Interact Club of the school has adopted a school in village Togan as its main agenda towards its social welfare programme. It has also given top priorities to Cleanliness and Education for the Girl Child in its annual list of activities. The members of the Club will make regular visits to this school and provide basis things of requirement to the school children. They will also conduct workshops to inculcate the habits of cleanliness and personal hygiene among these children.
